Summary of Sunday's Benefit Shoot
Just a quick update on the benefit shoot we held for John, Yesterday.
39 shooters attended and shot a round of Skeet, around of Sporting Trap
and 50 sporting clay targets for a total of 100 targets. One squad enjoyed the skeet round so much
that they manged to score up in the 30's out of 25.
( We did make the necessary corrections to the score card. )
Lequelle Country Store donated the top prize for the day, an entry fee for one to the
Nova Sporting Series with a value of $260.00. won by Gregory Nesbit (yes one of John's Sons)
There were several cash donations totalling $425.00.
The following items were donated and tickets were sold on them.
one case of Winchester AA Shot shells, A Browning meat cleaver, and a Browning Knife.
These fetched $390.00.
There was a bag of Beef Jerky ( compliments of Lequelle Country Store) auctioned off and
the winner of the Battle of the Beef was Chris LeBlanc. @ $101.05
Some Hot Dogs were sold and brought in $150.00
The bottom line was $2400.00 was raised yesterday to benefit John.
We wish to thank everyone that attended, sent in donations, provide prizes and sent their good wishes
and everyone that took time at the range to make this happen.
